Nicodxmvs // Anthology: 2011-2021

Over the last decade, I've been an admirer

of the music of San Antonio artist Nicodxmvs.

His dense catalog is full of atmospheric and immersive instrumentals

that toe the line between hip-hop and electronica, post-rock and ambient.

Some songs sound like floating through clouds

while others sound like entering the depths of the underworld.

With a background in metal as well as being well-versed

in layered electronica, this sixteen song anthology

is an archived assemblage showcasing

some of my favorite tracks from his discography.

Cloud rap meets industrial glitch.

Shlohmo meets Aphex Twin.

Balam Acab meets Arca.

Prior to this release, some of these songs

only existed in the belly of SoundCloud.

Others tucked away on Bandcamp.

Consider this 2011-2021 release to be

a 'best of' compilation.
