Last night Aminé went on Fallon and delivered a beautiful, powerful performance of "Caroline," and he had some more Portland artists with him on backup vocals. One of those artists was The Last Artful, Dodgr, who has her own announcement to make today with "Oofda." The song [Oofda] is the first single from The Last Artful, Dodgr and producer Neill Von Tally's upcoming album Bone Music, out in early 2017. We already knew the L.A.-born, Portland-based artist could spit, and we heard hints of her melodic delivery on songs like "Squadron" and "Jelly Hunt," but here she sings throughout in her raw, raspy, unmistakable voice. Bone Music is both sonically and thematically cohesive, with a central narrative of a blue collar worker struggling through both work and a traditional relationship.
