Jim Mahfood
is one of my favorite illustrators
in the game.

I dig his signature posts
combining chaotic scribbles
with glistening renditions
of familiar faces.
Always prolific and always
crafting pieces unlike any others
on my timeline.
I interviewed him
on the Mishka Bloglin (RIP)
last June and I recently checked
out his book Sadistic Magician
from my library.
Full of his incredible sketches,
both colorful and in black&white,
the book showcases Mahfood's
collection ranging from guitar gods
to top hat sharks
to dinosaur costumes.
The whole experience
is playfully deranged.
