The other night,
I told myself
I would find a strong
video to watch
before going to bed.
After scrolling
for far too long,
I stumbled upon
a Sofar Sounds performance
in Istanbul
by Turkish act
Dalganabak.
The song is called
“Vakta Geldi”
and shows a band
of six playing organically
inside of someone's home.
With the lead singer
playing oboe
and bringing out
a mega phone,
it led to me watching
the official music video
for the single,
which is a technicolor
playhouse of visuals.
They showcase plenty
of graffiti in their city
while also providing
a fun narrative.
I love this band,
even if I have no idea
what they're singing.
